Emma Chen grew up surrounded by the rolling fields and farm-to-table culture of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Raised in Amish country, she spent her childhood picking fresh ingredients from local farms with her mom, nurturing a deep appreciation for whole, nourishing foods. Her father, a pain management doctor, taught her early on that prevention is the best medicine—a belief Emma carried with her into the kitchen.
At just 15, Emma started her very first baking business, creating cookies for weddings. Though she paused her baking endeavors during high school and college, her passion for crafting treats that bring joy and vitality never faded. In 2025, inspired by her roots and love for wholesome ingredients, Emma reinvented her baking. She created delicious cookies and muffins, free of gluten, dairy, refined sugar, and artificial additives.
Her treats quickly became beloved, astonishing everyone who tasted them. And so, Good Dough was born, proving once again that great taste and great health truly belong together.
